Followed the death PMMZ, a golden opportunity has arisen for PIA of Eritrea to reclaim his stature as a statesman in horn of Africa in particular and Africa in General. Post Meles Ethiopia will be unable to pose a major threat to PIA’s Eritrea. It is a matter of time before the current Ethiopian leadership seeks a solution to the border dispute between the two countries in order to sort out its ever growing unrests in all corners of the country. PIA now has to think beyond the border dispute and play imperative role to the stability of the horn Africa in particular and Africa in general by contributing his share in controlling the expansion of Islamic fundamentalism in the region. He needs to extrapolate his positive role in the Sudan to Somalia and other parts of Africa. He has the capacity to do stellar job in mediating regional conflicts. All he has to do is adjust his attitude toward the west and get out the self imposed isolation. PIA’s line of thinking has been: by engaging himself in constant quarrel with western powers, he thinks he could avoid the pressure being exerted from western nations to democratize Eritrea-   is an ill advised strategy. In fact, the policy of self isolation that he has been practicing for the last 10 years is threatening the very existence of his regime.  The damage on Eritrea’s image and economical wellbeing is colossal.

The death of PMMZ has paved the way for PIA to reclaim his significant role within IGAD and AU. PIA has a choice to make now – to either align himself with the western world in the fight against Islamic fundamentalism which is spreading its tentacles in the horn or to confine himself in the paranoid state of mind that he put himself in for the last ten years. PIA views anything that comes from the west with distorted prism; he thinks they are coming to get him! It is high time for PIA to understand that US administration is not Eritrea’s sworn enemy. US being the sole superpower in this planet, for Eritrea improving its relationship with this global power house is unquestionably paramount.

Iran and the Arab world are not Eritrea’s strategic allies. The Arab world’s dream to convert Red Sea into an “Arab Lake” is still alive and kicking. Our Tigrinya brothers in particular and Ethiopians in general are our indispensible allies to protect the region from the looming Arab/Islam domination. Unless Eritrea and Ethiopia pooled their resources together, they will be unable to face the well funded fundamentalists from taking over the region. It is an imminent threat that requires a well defined strategy.  Ethiopia and Eritrea, instead of putting themselves in perpetual animosity over barren land, they need to align their resources to defend themselves from this dangerous expansion fundamentalism. The policy that both countries adopting is simply put: Mutually Assured Destruction (MAD)

PIA administration, US & Western nations have a lot to gain by working together to tame the rising fundamentalist movement which is threatening to turn the horn into the Afghanistan of Africa.

For starters, PIA’s regime needs to condemn Alshebab and align himself with IGAD, AU, and the UN in supporting the transitional government of Somalia and encourage this transitional body for all inclusive political engarment in Somalia to achieve a lasting solution. PIA’s regime should stop using the Somalia issue as point of difference with the rest of the world rather it should use the Somalian situation to re-establish its diplomatic relations with the west and UN. PIA’s regime standoff with US administration is unsustainable and it is taking its toll on Eritrea. No one is going to award PIA for involving himself in constant charade against US administration, on the contrary with open and laud involvement in tit-for tat with the sole superpower is hurting Eritrea in economy, diplomacy and so on. The collateral damage from PIA’s unwise and careless locking horns with US admin and the EU is tarnishing Eritrea’s image. It is time that PIA moves in to fill the vacuum left by Meles and help Eritrea improve its stature in the global scene or finishes the last leg of his political career as being irrelevant! Those are the two choices that PIA is facing!!

  1. Mind your own Business, your comment is not from H A A L I O O T. Give this to those

Who are lost in the stormy ocean.

  2. Why is this piece of garbage written by an Ethiopian author posted on an Eritrean website ?

There were fewer than 2 million starving people in Ethiopia when Meles Zenawi came to power in 1991. There are 3.8 million starving people in Ethiopia today. So what have the Ethiopian people gain during the last 21 years serving the interest of the sole super-power at the expense of their exposure to a man-made famine and the inclusion of their nation’s name on Oxford dictionary as the best example for famine?

According to the UN, Ethiopia is the second poorest nation in the world. Even Somalia without a functioning government has a better economy than the “poster child for Famine” Ethiopia. If the northern Ethiopian Senait Beniam cannot feed her starving millions in Ethiopia, how can she take the moral high ground in lecturing us about how we should manage our own affairs ? Go feed your own people. Your rhetoric is as empty as your empty stomach.

  3. senait your analises is supper dup only for weyne supporter but has no any value for Eritrea people and Goverment .so Senait i advise you to take your garbage analisses to Breket Semon offic for more edit in order to add more fabricate acusation against our Excellence presdaint Isayas Afwerki

  4. Childish analysis, you need to revise the Eritrean history. You seem have a very shallow knowledge about the global conflict in particular the horn of Africa. It didn’t start yesterday or 10 years ago, do your home work before insulting your history and the braveness of the Eritrean people.

    • To day Egyptian soldier killed Eritrean man,25 at border.
Of course this is a little and insignificant story for you.
Your bass has gave deaf ear when 400 perish in sea recently.
      What a pity.
Leave Ethiopia both physically and and mentally.

  5. Excellent Senait, Ilike your analaysis. Sorry to say Wedisagin, you could have helped Senait if she doesn’t know. yet insulting her doesn’t prove you to be knowledgable. It is True it didn’t start 10 years ago, but we emerged successful and broke the Old mythes of the west about Eritrea in 1991. We had a chance to keep on floorishing as it is true that we can’t wind the west by fighting them but by aligning ourselves with them. Therefore, I completely agree with Senait, not Just PIA but we all Eritreans should think otherwise and ensure the sustainability of or Future.

    Thanks.

  6. You got it all wrong , you need to get this message to US administration not to PIA . The Eritrean leader had no stone unturned, seeking for a diplomatic relation in particularly with the Us, but all he got is a fabricated sanctions and crab to appease Meles .

  7. Senait, I think you need a better understanding of the Horn politics and in general the world politics; You seem to be wrapped un in cotton wool to write what you have written. So for your analysis I give you F, please try again.

    • Senait just been pragmatist….trying to fight the superpowers the way wedi afom is doing it is simply eshenet! he is living in his own bubble! you remmebr when the sanction against us passed 14 yes and 1 vote from libya ( by the way PIA never mentioned the death of his trust friend on ERi TV…and never tried to help the families of Gadafi who there for him when china , russia, and others screwed us over….
the reactions i am seeing to seanits courageuous article shows me u all r on drugs! period! so high you dont know who u fighting against…

      • Lol, look who is talking! Eden dare i say but you sound a failed tenqualit, perhaps in your case it is better to be tenqualit than to give Eritrean politics, I urge you and your Senait to go to Eritrea or better to spend some time in the library and read more and more inorder for you to have an understanding of Eritrean politics.

I say simply we are not capitulators and whims we are fighers for our right and freedom and no one can dictate us on our destiny unlike you we are not whims.

        • denden
what eritrean politics you talking about.dictatorship, how to imprison an eritrean and beat the day light out of him, kidnaping the rich kids in asmara and extorting money from their fathers pretending they were caught trying to flee the country, arming pensioners with guns and bullets instead of feeding them and so on.I guess the DIA WEDI MEDHEN BERAD is giving YOU one from behind or you waching too much eri tv.as you advice eden to go to library to read more about the politics of eritrea, I advice her not to know nothing about the present adminstration in case she denounce her nationality because of the horrors she is going to encounter.

      • EDEN:- STOP YPUR BLA BLA. I KNOW YOU AND TELL WHO YOU ARE? ONE THING I NEED TO SAY ABOUT YOU . YOU ARE TIGRAY AND LIVE IN ………….. WHY DO NOT LEAVE ERITREA FOR ERITREAN? ONCE YOU WRITE AS A MAN ONCE AS A WOMEN. THIS IS A TIGRYAN SYSTEM CHANGEING HEART AND NAME …ETC. WE KNOW YOU VERY WELL.

        • Alemayehu… it seem you had dead brain cell. eden told u what the realty is.most our ertrians live in denial world.the country is crumbling under our eyes. instead of understand our problem and solve it , just through trash talk didn’t help.. we become the laughing stock of africa and the world. we are the single country produce more refugees in the world. even their organs is sold in open market in senai desert and egypt.enough is enough. we suffer a lot. this mafia gov. of issyass must go.balming ethios, americans and others didn’t help any thing.

  8. Wedisagin was infact soft on her.. Issaise himself would have called her unpatriot when he reads her advice that is biased toward moslems. She try to include moslems as being prosecuted by mentioning mosques being burned but yet again she advises the PIA to work with the west to prevent Arabism and Islamism. I question her being Eritrean. Stupid one if she is.

  9. There are only two options for Issaias: vacate gracefully or be dragged on the streets like Gaghafi. One of these two options will happen sooner or later.

    • Hate is not going get any were bro , he is hero and fellow eri so which eve way u suggesting is just tellin me stupidity of ur mind. off course need some transformation with time but for now we have lot issue to worry about to get there. You need change u have to work and fight for it , dont expect it sitting ur ass in west and some body else is gong to do it for u. He is Hero and off course he has done great things to our country , are there sme issue yes but ur way is not solution.

  10. Hundreds if not thousands of platinum and golden opportunities have come and gone/wasted since the early 70′s of the organization called EPLF. Those opportunities were given deaf ears and blocked minds by him and many of his cronies and have been behaving and acting with naked cruelty, ignorance and arogance toward their fellow comrades, oponents, friends and most importantly citizens. The huge boulders of Nakfa and marbles of Massa and Carrara, are much softer than the minds and soul of these ever- combative and vindictive clique in Eritrea. The only departure from the current pages and chapters of Eritrea is for the current clique to die/overthrown/kill each other…etc, and hopefully the new clique will have good enough sense of sanity/humanity/morality to create a new chapter of cooperation/humility/ service and yes a good sense of what it means to live in peaceful/tranquil/civil/free environment. Thanks

  11. Although, its timely and important advice to the dictator but unfortunately he won’t heed to the advice simply because he is not up to the task of serving Eritrea and its people. The dictator has no Eritrean interest on heart from the outset and NEVER had but greed of power and money.A dictator that turned the one time ambitious nation into a place where lawlessness, imprisonment without due process, summery execution, disappearances, slavery and rape have become the order of the day.Dictators won’t take advices until they are chased and flushed out dead or alive from every sewer, tunnel or ratholes. Will they?

    • Awget 1991, don’t you think you’re exagerating toooo much?
greed of power and money = Are you sure of that? Where PIA is hiding the money? I guess this would have been exposed long ago by the foreign gov. if he had some cash n some banks.
      summery execution = bogog!!!!
rape = another bogog. moreover if someone has his dick up and he wants to sc….what the hell is the connection with PIA?
slavery = I don’t know what exactly you mean. If you’re refering to those who, bravely and courageously are rebuilding day and night their country, they know it’s their duty and responsibility.

  12. great advice and i was particularly impressed by the writer for her pragmatism, you don’t see that often in Eritrea this days as can be demonstrated by the comments . Most seem effectively brainwashed into submission to the siege mentality and i don’t see anybody getting out of it that quickly. Unfortunately this advice is gonna fall on deaf ears just because you can’t teach new tricks to an old dog. PIA is too old dog to learn new tricks and abandon his gorilla tactics and mentality. but i think it a great advice whomever comes after PIA.

  13. If the dictator PIA was meant to be a states man of value, he would have been that person some 20 something years ago. He wasn’t then, he is not now and definately he will not be in the future.

  14. Senait , first and most keep your so called two choices to you plates…and i did not get are you qualified politician or economist ? you sound absolute naive…

    * ” red sea to be Arab lake ” is an expansionist Ethiopian tune…
    * ”Islamic fundamentalism” is a creation of western nation to bully nations around the world..

Was Meles really an obstacle for USA to have a good relationship with Eritrea ? not at all USA’S hostility against Eritrea starts when PIA was just a school boy..so what has got to do USA’S policy towards Eritrea with PIA ? Any way the Senait sounds to me an Ethiopian than Eritrean since her she is singing an Ethiopian tune.

And finally for Eritrea and PIA , it is time to watch carefully what is going to unfold from down the south..as it is divided along ethnicity.. some powerful revolution is to explode soon..

  15. Senait;
I don’t think it’s Eritrea that is isolating itself from the west. It’s vice versa. And the reason is simple. Eritrea refused to tiptoe and subscribe to the western prescription that it felt is counterproductive and will lead to more dependency. This would have been an excellent article had it been addressed to those who are causing obstacle to the peace efforts by allowing the Ethiopian regime to act like a mafia where international laws are defied at will with no consequences.

  16. well what concern me is the wast of time of the people of Eritrea not statesman.and the hole region horn africa people.the proble are most government in this region not here to serve their people rather to the west .again fandamentalists are created by the west.so what i can say senait, let we people of the horn wake up make all this government accountable to us to the people.and we should respect each other.let me tell you some example how the west live by avoiding war to each other. UK,France all Europeand b/n Canada and America they have differences.they live in peacefull and they have a lot matual projects.

  17. My dear Senait,
Very many great advices have been extended to the dictator over the years but this one can be said very crucial and timely because its coming at the right time pleading and reminding with the ”self declared president” to play by the diplomatic rules and international norms which are highly important to Eritrea.Unfortunately, every great advice extended to him over the years was fallen on deaf ears and sadly so will yours.
Dictators NEVER heed to constructive ideas and advices because they are not up to the task of serving the people. What matters to them is the unlimited power and money they enjoy. Our dictator is no different either and he has no Eritrean interest on heart.Like the other dictators, this petty and disgusting dictator understands only force and he has to be eleminated by force.

    • Aite Alem, what were the advises you”re talking about? To remove his pants and bend-of? May be you may accept this kind of advises….

  18. lady slow down some of ur comments seem to me as if i am listening to fox news :) , Arab are humans who are fighting against western domination in way they know. Not tht i support the path they are taking. And yes we need peace with ethiopia but not be western tools in east africa. If western powers want to fight arab fundamentalist it their war not ours. So as i know i have never read are seen any arab fundamentalist that treats eritrea national security. But yes ne true we all agree not any PIA but also the new ethiopian admi should end this senseless tension btwn eri and ethio , both work to stabilize the horn of africa in +ve way.

  19. HATEF TEF TEF TEF TEF and TSILALLE

  20. Wow I salute Seanit for tencity and for calling a spade a spade…it gives me hope to see we have ladies amongst us who could bulldozed easily….PIA ezeni aleka do eseaki mekeri seb seamea!

  21. I wonder about the western educated African, included senait, thinking. they take all the western propaganda about the rising so called Islamic fundamentalism in Africa as if true events coming to hurt Africa. most of those who are struggling to have basic needs in Africa right now are poor Christians and Islam. and , if they use religion as a tool to rise for their right to live in peace in their land , the western media jump to conclusion as fundamentalists. the western educated Africans fall for this trap and write false propaganda about their brothers in Africa for the sake of western appreciation.they themselves do not know their religion and practice.

    • Another round of east African confusion is around. This time barbaric kind of thinking costs very much.Wise leader like Meles is very important.Diehard supporter of DIA ARE OUT OF THE PAGE THIS TIME.Two Eritrean enter in to local administrative office in Addis and tried to rise Eritrean flag by lowering Ethiopian flag. The guard was laughing at them.It is as such that the mad shabia is doing. This time no one has a soft heart for Eritrean.I TELL YOU.Meles with his pragmatic kind of leader ship has gone for ever.Eritrean issue is sensitive in Ethiopia. For any one to come in power the issue is suicidal.

PLAY YOUR CARD WELL,I THINK THAT IS WHAT THE WRITER WHAT TO PASS

  22. what a halewlew. Meles is gone and my condolences to you. Our President, his excelency PIA need no advice from agamitai like you. PIA does not run the country by himself, PFDJ does. The greate visionary knows where to get his advises. thanks but no thanks for your childish advises.
You shold put more time in researching the history of the region and specifically the history of US policy towards Eritrea.

  23. It is not up to PIA or the African leaders to make peace each other. It is up to Suzan who servng the white rice to call the shots. Suzi @28 screws a lot in Africa as a result she got demoted by then secretary Madliyn Albrght .now she is acting like loose cannon needs to be balded.the love for a tigrai man she practiced when she was 28 no body can take itit is personal for her.love is stronger than truce

  24. Isayas need to be HUNGED soon

  25. I WOULD LIKE TO SAY LET THE PEOPLE OF THE TWO COUNTRIES LIVE IN PEACE.IT’s USA THAT HINDERT THE BOARDER DEMARCATION OBVIOUSLY(SEE AMBASSADOR RICHARD HOLBRUKE’S BOOK).SO IT IS TIME TO TWIST FROM THE WRONG DECITION FOR THE USA FOR THE SAKE OF THE TWO PEOPLE,BUT IT WILLNOT UNLESS THE SITAUTION IN ETHIOPIA GETS WORSE AND OUT OF ITS HAND.THEN TIME WILL COME TO USA TO TELL ETHIOPIA TO WITHDROW FROM ALL TERRITORIES OF ERITREA IT OCCUPIED.I HOPE USA WILL ENGAGE ITSELF WITH THE GOVERNMENT AND THE PEOPLE OF ERITREA LEARNT FROM THE MISHANDLING OF THE ISSUE OF INDEPENDENT ERITREA FOR THE PAST 62 YEARS UNLESS IT CONTINUES DRIVING ON THE SAME RAILWAY.

  26. Mr. Truth why you afraid that you hidden your name. listen poor servant of servant. Meles did what. 1 He pulled horn of Africa to the more conflict to get what he begs from his servant. 2 He has dragged more servants the leaders of Africa to the basket of bagger. 3 He expose that Ethiopia is a number one dependent 4. The most bad did he has done is he makes more conflict inside between Muslims each other and between Muslims Christians that was un known in the history of this great country. But he has done painting some did to satisfy his servants like you

  27. Senait when did you got your fake ID

  28. What a garbage article, The writer seems be in hibernation. For your info, Eritrea is never isolated, Eritrea is free from the western virus infection.

  29. The writer is a pipe-dreamer.

  30. Selam Senait Beniam,
I read your piece posted above, and God/Allah help me from dying of laughter. I don’t mean to dismiss your ideas, but I felt it was written by someone who was hibernating in the woods. Your advice is very telling that you are not politically astute nor does it make you sound very pragmatic. You raised ideas that PIA could do to solve the Horn’s problem, if not the Muslim world would take over the whole Africa? That makes you one sleeping queen in the jungles of politics. Wake up and look around the Horn todate! Who has been striving for stability in the Horn? Who has the vision and stance of a united Somalia? Who has the vision and put a genuine effort towards IGAD?

It feels like some or all of your interests came to collapse, and therefore wrote the piece during your nightmare. I suggest you digest politics fairly well before you sit in front of the computer.

Breath easy, Eritrea’s stance towards its vision and goals are intact. My only advice is for you to sit and watch.

Sleep well. Because, somehow you sound like something has been taken from you or worst yet you sound you stand to lose by the death of late Meles Zenawi.

    AGEphrem

  31. Gual Meke’l, Please worry about your Tigray. We Eritrean do not have any problems name Fundamentalism, ism…..isms….. . Your late prime minster play the old fashion card of isms…. to get the attention. Wel, we donot need that. One thing i forgot to mention, to my dear Gual Meke’le THE TIGRAY MANIFESTO IS DEAD AND BURRIED FOR EVER. That is brain iching and heart break to most of you guys dreamer of ABAY TIGRAY. Adios….. Gone forever try to live wisely with the rest of Ethiopians and MIND YOUR BUISNESS…..

  32. The problem of the 1998 war was the pure clashes in the fiscal and economical misunderstandings between the 2 parties that have taken power in 1991. Both of them military juntas and with no functional constitution in place. If they do not work together their days will be numbered and history will keep repeating itself, greed will kill us all.

  33. This is written by tigre-tigrgna people. They want to continue from the point whre meless and isayas stopped cooperating in 1995. The aim is to empower the tigre both norht and south over Ethiopia. This is evil. what we need is democracy and equality regadless one is tigre or afar.

  34. It goes without saying that we have a very very long way to go before we see the light at the end of the tunnel. From these and many other comments as well as the mind set of the “Majority” of the region’s population whereever they may be, appears to have been stuck permanently in a in “No forward” mode since the 70′s and 80″s. If those who are totally subjective about this article had a chance to meet the writer in person, they would behave and act as cruel and barbaric as the Islamic/christian..etc extremists. To argue and respond back in a manner that is so clannish and tribal is to simply show your true color of immaturity, raw, vindictiveness, arrogant and ignorant side of you. Eriteans who act and behave as if they care and love Eritrea more than the next fellow Eritrean, they will die to protect and honor a regime that does not honor, respect and value the LIFE OF A FELLOW HUMAN BEING regardless of his/her view are simply hinderance to human progress, hinderance to their own progress, and YES in the end, they pay a heavy price in their unhappy and combative daily lives. May we learn to be civil and objective!

  35. Dear Senait Beniam: Eritrea (ER) has long expressed its desire for peace with Ethiopia (ET)

I agree that there could be an opportunity for ER-ET peace, if not a “golden opportunity”. It is Ethiopian leaders that have so far rejected the offer and opted for putting extreme pressure on ER to get what they wanted. If you believe that there is a “golden opportunity” for ER-ET peace after Leggesse “Melless” Zenawi’s death, I believe you are assuming that he was a great obstacle to ER-ET peace, and the new ET leader(s) and their policies and approaches would be different, or better.

ER’s formula for peace is simple and straight foreward. ER wants peace with ER because it desires to redirect its resource towards other waiting internal issues. The reason that ER wants peace with ET according to the EEBC decisions “as is” (with minor modifications on impractical locations of border markers as determined by the cartographers), I believe, is because there were 130 pages long of changes “Melless” wanted to make on the EEBC decisions, and the atmosphere was not conduicive for any productive dialogue or negotiations. ER could have sent a diplomat to meet ET delegates for “dialogue” and told them “NO, NO,…NO” to almost every topic they raised, but that is a waste of time, effort and money. That is why ER insists on the complete acceptance “as is” of EEBC decisions, and the will to implement these legal EEBC decisions by ET. I believe ER would rather agree to dialogue on possible border re-adjustments “for sustainable peace” after the normalization of ET-ER relations preceded by withdrawal of ET’s troops from territories determined to be Eritrea’s.

ET’s new leader may have less baggage than that of “Melless” to seek peace with ER, but they are the best judges of their circumstances. President Issaias Afwerki(PIA) always thinks both about the border and beyond the border. You suggested that PIA condemn Al Shabaab and work for the stability of the region and that means fighting to control Islamic fundamentalists, or “terrorists”. PIA has already condemned Al Shabaab and has promised the UN and EU that ER would its best (short of sending troops to Somalia) to bring stability in the region. ER does not consider Islamic fundamentalism, but foreign military interference, as the number one cause of instability in the Horn of Africa. “War Against Terrorism” is America’s number one priority goal, but is not of first priority for each nation in the Horn of Africa. America is paying money to leaders in the Horn of Africa to make it appear that US priorities are to the same degree their priorities. Al Qaida is a problem, but it is not the number one problem in the Horn. Don’t expect peace in Somalia unless the “extremists” are moderated and Somalians reach at a consensus to re-construct a State common to all. America’s approach is to destroy the “extremist Islamists” by military might and establish a Somalian State without them. ER believes that the US approach will radicalize the “Islamists”, weaken the secularists and sustain instability. ER prefers dialogue among Somalians.

You may think that such an independent political stand is the cause of ER’s “self-imposed isolation”. ER’s isolation is not self-imposed. To isolate ER is a project of foreign powers, primarily the US led West and ET. The ER isolation project was designed and manufactured by Jendai Frazer, Susan E. Rice and Leggesse “Melless” Zenawi. The ER people will not be intimidated, and it is not going to work. Why do they have to go to “war” against ER while they could sit down and talk reasonably with it? The Eritrean people are extremely disappointed with America taking sides with ET in the lingering ET-ER conflict. It has become crystal clear that America does not care about justice, democracy or peace as far as those things do not serve its own interests.

I also beg to differ with your opinion that only Ethiopians, and particularly Tigrayans, are ER’s strategic allies. Given that there is peace between us, our neighbors are potentially our natural allies (that is, it is easier to do many things together with themfor mutual benefits), but that does not mean that a party that is still at war with ER cannot be ER’s strategic ally at all times. That is what we used to think in 1991; but that belief has expired. ER wants peace with ET but ET’s leaders have so far don’t seem ready yet. They seem to desire peace outside of the ER=ET Peace Treaty. They tend to want to change the verdict of a neutral body if they think the outcome is exactly as they want it to be. Zero for adversaries and everything for themselves. The 2005 ET election results and the EEBC decisions are to glaring cases to point out. When the results are not to their likings, the verdicts have to be changed. We hope the new ET leader(s) would be different.

I appreciate your proposal for peace, for it is a form of remote dialogue. Keep them coming.

  36. ” PIA of Eritrea to reclaim his stature as a statesman in horn of Africa in particular and Africa in General.”
    YOU MUST BE KIDDING!!!!

  37. The man needs a doctor and medcine not an advice. He is an Enginer when he order to built a bridge , he is an Economist when he talk about world economy, he tells our people how much calorie they have to take to stay alive, he is a judge when he arrest or kill people, he is aeverything in his world…sick man .Plase tell him to contact physcians before he he make more mess. Irealy sorry for his family and wife who have to face everyday this mentaly sick man.

  38. Aye Senu!! I don’t know whether you’re so naive or totaly ignorant of the situation. Why do you believe that the eritrean issue is on one mans hand? This’s ERITREANS issue. Do not tarnish the image of our president. Unless the US admin changes it’s attitude, we can’t bow and lick their a…. that is not what our fallen heroes died for….we do not claim no ones piece of land, neither we allow others to take an inch of ours…so if your Americans wants to have a base in Eritrea ( that’s what actual they want)…forget it….otherwise neither PIA nor any Eritrean will have a problem to work with any US admin. if it’s based on respect, fairness etc. Leave alone my dear PIA. He’s doing a good job.
